Siauliai chamber choir „Biciuliai“ exists for almost 18 years (choir established in 1989). Siauliai University docent Stasys Zalaitis is the leading person in choir from the very beginning. It is not a professional choir. There are tutors, students, teachers and engineers singing. Seniors and young people make a very special picture of choir. Music unites all of them.
Motto of the chorus is – “God, take our sacrifice”. Those are the words from St. Mass. Choir is singing worldly and sacramental music. For each festival and occasion choristers make different and special repertoire.
Through all the existing time choir had concerts in various outlying places, churches, hospitals, nursing homes, prisons. Many concerts were arranged in Latvia, Russia, Belgium and all of them were gratuitous.
